One Month, One Day

Day One
Just shy of 4 weeks old
Isabel celebrated her one month birthday yesterday.
8pounds, 9 ounces, 20 inches long
I went back thru the pictures we have taken over the last month and I really don't have many of her and not much by way of video either. I will try and do better but with two it is proving to be a bit difficult. Thankfully we have seen Aunt Sarah and she has gotten some great pics starting with her birth pictures (the pictures above were taken by her).
The last month has flown by- Isabel is now one month, one day old and Caleb is one day shy of being one month from his 2nd birthday. I can't believe how fast my babies are growing. Some days I wish I could just freeze them so that they would always be this little.
Caleb is still being a great big brother and loves to give his sister love. His vocabulary is picking up and he is showing his desire for independence. He starts school again on his birthday and I can't wait to see how he blossoms this year. Caleb still loves books and a day without going outside is torture for him (picking up sticks, swinging, driving in his Cozy Coupe, and pushing his wagon are his favorite things to do).
Isabel is just loving to be held and already has her daddy wrapped around her little finger! She has already rolled over from her stomach to her back (at 9 days old) and has good head control and strong little legs. She has started to be awake more now during the day and just takes in her surroundings. Like her brother, she loves her baths. We love having her as part of our family. I am trying to savor all these moments (wishing I had more on tape and pics to look back on) for I know just like Caleb she will be doing for herself before too long. I will try to keep you posted on our growing little Choes.

It's Friday

Baby girl takes her first nap in her crib....
and Caleb regresses, needing to carry Pippy with him and sucking on a pacifier he doesn't even like

It is a fabulous Friday! Family coming to town this weekend to visit.

One Week

We have now been a family of four for one week. Isabel has been a great new addition to our family. Caleb still seems to be liking her, and only tried to give her love pats with a stick this morning. We went to the doctor this morning and she is continuing to grow:weight-7lb 10oz, length-19.25inches. With all the eating and sleeping she has been doing that is great to hear. Now onto more important things-catching a quick nap before both babes wake up. Isn't she lovely.

Uncle Dan takes Caleb to the Atlanta Zoo

Uncle Dan was too kind and took Caleb to the zoo today. It was probably Caleb's first outing without Kwon or I in tow. They look like they had a great time-Caleb especially with the birds and at petting zoo.

Maybe we will go back again soon. Thanks Dan!

Family Day with the Fishes

Today we took a family trip to the Georgia Aquarium Caleb wasn't so sure about the fish in the beginning. He wanted to be in our laps or held onto us for dear life.

Daddy pointing the fish out to Caleb

Caleb waving to the fishes-finally after 30 minutes he began to realize that the fish were not going to get him and that fish were friends

We had a great day as a family of three today. We worked very hard on the to-do list yesterday getting ready for baby girl and decided today would be a great day to relax and enjoy time as a family. We started the day with a yummy breakfast then headed to the aquarium. Caleb ended up loving the fish and within 5 minutes of leaving he was sound asleep in the car. Caleb is now 21 months old and has moved into his big boy room leaving the nursery for his sister. The adjustment is beginning for us all, but we can't wait to meet Choe baby #2 in about a month. Maybe we will get one more fun filled family outing of 3 before she arrives.
