Visit with Santa

I see Santa-he doesn't look so bad
They have candy canes; I think I can give this guy a try!
Okay, I survived! No crying, but not too many smiles.

To Boo's House We Go

We had a great time going to see my Grandmother. She kept all the kids for my cousin, aunt and I to go on the tour of homes. We did some Christmas baking and shared our colds with her. We can't wait to see Boo again!

We had a great Thanksgiving with a house full of family and friends. Caleb enjoyed having so many people around to feed him and play with him.

Not so happy little Indian

Caleb had his first Thanksgiving feast at school last Thursday. By lunchtime, he was tired and not really interested in eating turkey and dressing. Oh well, it was still fun to watch his class. Hopefully he will enjoy this Thursday more than the last. We are very thankful for his teachers Mrs. Donna and Mrs. Lisa. They love Caleb so much, and he loves school because of them.

Happy Birthday Mom

Yesterday would have been my mom's 55th birthday. How we loved to celebrate birthdays together, hers just being two days before mine and all. This was a picture of us celebrating her 40th birthday. Happy Birthday Mom!

Look at me!

Caleb standing! picking out his pumpkin today at the pumpkin patch.
A little blurry but here he is walking!!! Crawling is still his primary mode of transportation but he can walk when he wants too. Before we know it, we will have a runner!

Georgia Aquarium

Pointing at the fish-his new favorite thing to do is to point at what he wants.

Caleb looking at the fish swimming above him

My family was in town over the weekend so we decided to head out to the aquarium on Monday. Thankfully it wasn't crowded, and Amelia and Caleb loved looking at the fish. I think we will go back again someday soon and take daddy too.

A Day at School

And a few blocks away, he was sacked out (notice he is holding his maraca).

Destin

We went to Destin last week for our family summer vacation. The weather was so so, and Caleb got sick while we were there and passed it on to us, but all in all it was so nice to be away and relax. Kwon and I watched many movies over the week while Caleb napped, we did some shopping, and spent a few hours at the beach. Thursday was our best day at the beach and I left my camera in the condo all day, so on Friday as we were leaving I was kicking myself for not having any pictures. Caleb loved jumping the waves, chasing the birds on the beach, playing with his shovel and tasting (maybe I should say eating) sand. We are glad to be home, but it was nice to get away.

Our Newest Family Addition

Thomas Emory Evatt was born Sunday at 8:39 pm, weighing in at 6 lb. 3 oz., 18 inches long. He was scheduled to make his entrace today but decided he wanted to come early. We even made it to Greenville in time last night to get the news and see him firsthand. We can't wait for him and Caleb to play together.

Go Dawgs!

Caleb is dressed tonight in his black Georgia onesie for tonights game against Alabama. Now, I must confess, Kwon and I are both Georgia fans but neither one of us went to Georgia. I grew up going to Georgia games with my mom and dad who were both Georgia graduates, so I figure it is in my blood. Mercer had no football team so I had to have someone to root for. Well I will go back to the pregame show now, and wish Georgia well in their game tonight. Go Dawgs!

Caleb and The Girls

Norah, Audrey & Caleb

My best friends, Sarah and Brooke with their babies. How things have changed in the last year for all of us. We started Mercer together as freshman living next to one another. Now we are all married with our first babies. We have had a great 10 years together.
